The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) encourages dairy farmers, friends of the industry and dairy lovers in Wisconsin to share their dairy-based recipes in a new cookbook, Dairy Comfort Cookbook. This project is fully supported by Dairy Management Inc™ (DMI), the national arm of the dairy checkoff.
In addition to sharing dairy-specific recipes, the cookbook will include farmer profiles and stories that celebrate the dairy farm families that provide the nutritious milk that makes the bountiful array of dairy products used to feed the world.
DMI plans to publish this cookbook in 2015 in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the dairy farmer-founded National Dairy Council® and June Dairy Month.
Submit recipes now through May 30, to firstname.lastname@example.org. All submissions require the name of the recipe, complete list of ingredients and cooking instructions/directions as well as a brief description of what makes the recipe special. Please include full name, city and state, email and phone number and, if possible, how the recipe submitter connected to the dairy industry.
